A one day workshop on the topic “Laser therapy in animals” was held in Veterinary College, Shivamogga sponsored under SCP-TSP programme which was organized by Department of Veterinary Medicine for the benefit of the officers of Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services. Dr.S.Yathiraj, Former Dean, Veterinary College, Bengaluru delivered the series of lectures on recent updates in laser therapy in animals in many conditions. He also demonstrated the user of laser treatment of animal diseases to the participants ,faculty and students of Veterinary College, Shivamogga. Dr Yathiraj gave a talk on laser therapy in animals and demonstrated the same to the participants.
Dr.Prakash Nadoor, Dean of Veterinary College informed that the continuous education programmes are being organized in the institute regularly and the benefits of modern techniques should reach the farmers for increasing their income through animal husbandry. He also informed that series of such programmes will be implemented for the benefit of the society in future also.
Dr Suresh Patel Revanna, Organizing Secretary of the workshop, Dr Ananthkrishna , Coordinator of the SC-ST Cell, Dr.Ganesh Udupa, Dr.Murugeppa, Dr,Ravi Raidurg, Dr.N.B.Shridhar Dr.B.P.Ravikumar,Dr.Mohan and Dr.Malatesh coordinated the workshop.
