One day administrative training was held in Veterinary College, Shivamogga sponsored under SCSP-TSP programme for the benefit of the faculty of Veterinary College, Shivamogga. Dr.B.V.Muralikrishna,Joint Commissioner, Commercial Tax Department, Government of Karnataka, Bengaluru delivered the series of lectures on GST (Goods and Service Tax) and its role in building nation. He also demonstrated how to check the details of GST paid by a firm to Government. He stated that, Indian taxation system is being stream lined through GST. He informed GST as “Good…. Simple …Tax”.
Dr.Prakash Nadoor, Dean of Veterinary College informed that all should have habit of insisting for bill for the goods purchased. He appraised Dr.B.V.Muralikrishna being a successful veterinarian as a teacher in Bidar Veterinary College and also for a man behind the screen for the successful implementation of GST in Karnataka State and Karnataka is a model for other states.
Dr Muralikrishna was felicitated by the faculty and staff of Veterinary College, Shivamogga for his achievement in the field of Veterinary and Income Tax Departments.
Dr.N.B.Shridhar, Professor and Head of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology Department, Veterinary College, Shivamogga delivered a talk on use of Kannada Software in correspondence related to daily administration ( ಆಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ತತ್ರಾಂಶಗಳ ಬಳಕೆ ).
Mr. Bhupal Kamble, Librarian and also the Organizing Secretary of the training programme, Dr Ananthkrishna, Coordinator of the SC-ST Cell, Mr.Kumar Raghavendra, Smt. Nandana, Mr. Sathish Naik, Mr.Dayanand and Dr.N.B.Shridhar coordinated the training programme.
